HAND BLOWN GLASS
At least that is what I was told they are. I can't help but think there's a mold involved. This one was made, according to the tag, from the ash and sand that resulted when Mount Rainer in Washington State blew it's top. I have a photo I took of Mount Rainer back in the 70's when I was there as part of my church mission. Long story, long transfer. This style was very popular during the 70's as paperweights. Seems like every office had at least one. They were common, but this one, to me, was not.
