I can't say the egg is from Egypt, I supplied the wooden egg to the inlay artist at the museum and he spent a day doing the inlay work. Bits of bone, slivers of wood, strands of wire are glued together to make the medallion and then sliced thin and applied to the surface. He even signed the bottom. Mohamed Mohamed.
