Now starts the collection from around the world. No, I don't have eggs from every country, nor I have I traveled there to get them. Friends, family, many lovely days in fun shops all over the country have been the sources of the these eggs. This one I found in an Imported gifts specializing in African clothing and gifts. It' a natural soapstone, first painted, then the paint is "scratched back" to highlight the designs. It has a warm feel to it as you hold it, and the colors just give me a good idea of what a sunset on the Serengeti plains must look like. I was quite take with it the moment I saw it.
