My mother picked this up in Europe several years ago, and brought them back for my collection. Check out Kraslice on the net, these are beautifully hand painted wood eggs. The colors are vivid and bright with a high gloss sheen. I don't see the symbolism like I do in the Pysanky, but I do find them lovely.
