CERAMIC MEMORY
       I've had the egg for many years, in fact I think you're looking at the 3rd coat of paint it's had.  I just didn't get it right until I painted it gloss white, put on the lavender, then wiped if off so that the white shows thru, it really does look like lace.  Added the silver and dark purple accents, made the base silver and dark purple and put our wedding photo inside that it finally became established in my collection.  This one does please me.

MOTHER'S DAY EGG
     As silly as this egg sounds, I really like it.  It's a memory of a good time as well as a pretty egg.

CROCHET EGG #1
     Crocheted in two halves, put over a plastic egg, then starched with sugar.  The ribbon hides the seam once the plastic egg was removes.  Kinda fancy and totally cool.  Thanks Mom.

VALENTINES DISPLAY
    All together in a display that I can show of in February, and not to just show off my love of eggs.  I picked those particular candy hearts of a reason.    Still feel like I could an one more, on the base, maybe a horizontal style, but haven't found it yet.  Don't think I done.

VALENTINE WASHI FLORAL
     Found a wonderful paper with all kinds of flowers on it and thought I would finally try my hand a Washi paper.  It's an oriental technique that requires you to cut paper until it sort of looks like a picket fence then carefully cover the egg so there are no creases or wrinkles on the paper as it covers the egg.  MESSY!.  Lots of patience and glue.  But pleasing.

VALENTINES  VINED HEARTS
     Took a long time, and I tried several methods to make sure I none of the final red dye.  I was looking for valentines motif that I hadn't seen and vine style hearts just seemed right.

VALENTINES HEARTS & FLOWERS
            This one was not as easy as it looks.  Remember I'm not an artist, but I wanted this one to have the feel of a lace doily.  Think I did it.  Eggs are not just for Easter, became a rally point for me and while I've done several holidays, I'm not sure I'm done.
